and promenade, Samana has a

Although well known by tourists
looking for a quality vacation,
Samana does not have the large
expat community of Sosua &
Cabarete, so if you are looking
for a more real Dominican experience
then Samana could be for you.
Real estate in Samana is pretty cheap, and there are great plots
on the hillside with fantastic
sea and mountain views. Samana
City has some facilities including
a hospital, but don't expect
the Westernised shopping facilities - not yet, anyway!
